Deputy Dastan Bekeshev has submitted a number of proposals to the parliament regarding the law "On the Elections of the President and Deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh." This draft law is now awaiting consideration in the legislative body.
The proposed changes include various innovations, including financial rewards for citizens who report vote buying. It is also planned to provide free transportation on election day and to reward activists with certificates and other tokens of appreciation.
