Erlis Akunbekov has taken the position of Deputy Prime Minister, where he will be responsible for water resources, agriculture, and the processing industry. Damirbek Osmonov has been appointed Minister of Health.
According to the president's press service, Akunbekov will address issues of water policy, support for farmers, and the development of the processing sector.

Previously, both appointees had already been performing duties in these positions by presidential decrees, and on February 25, their candidacies were approved by the Jogorku Kenesh.
These appointments are part of broad personnel changes in the government aimed at strengthening key sectors of the economy and social sphere.
