Trump stated that the operation against Iran is planned for four weeks

On Monday, March 2, 2026, Donald Trump, the President of the United States, stated in an interview with the British publication Daily Mail that the military operation against Iran is expected to last approximately a month. He noted that this process could conclude sooner than anticipated.

The head of the White House emphasized that the developments are in line with Washington's expectations and did not come as a surprise to him. The operation, named "Epic Fury," began on February 28 with the participation of the United States and Israel, and was aimed at striking the command facilities of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, airfields, drone positions, and air defense systems.

The Central Command of the U.S. Armed Forces (CENTCOM) reported the involvement of "special capabilities" during the operation, but details have not been disclosed. Additionally, it has been reported that three American servicemen have died—these are the first casualties in the current campaign.

In an interview with Fox News, Trump also mentioned previous U.S. operations in Venezuela and strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities using B-2 strategic bombers, highlighting their success.
