CENTCOM reports casualties among American soldiers during operation against Iran

Previously, the U.S. military command claimed there were no casualties

During the operation, named "Epic Fury," three American servicemen were killed, and five sustained serious injuries, as reported by the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM).

This information pertains to the status of American troops involved in the operation as of 9:30 AM on March 1.

Earlier, CENTCOM denied claims by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) that more than 500 U.S. soldiers were killed in Iran's retaliatory strikes on American military bases, stating that there were no casualties and the damage was minimal.

The exact number of fatalities on the Iranian side remains unknown. The Iranian Red Crescent Society reported that at least 201 people were killed and 747 were injured at the onset of hostilities.

Among the most tragic incidents was a strike on a girls' elementary school in the city of Minab, where, according to official data, more than 140 people were killed, most of whom were schoolgirls.
