According to information from the Iranian Armed Forces, new missile and drone strikes have been carried out against Israel and American bases in the region.
The Iranian agency Mehr published the sixth official statement regarding the operation "Truthful Promise 4," which mentions the start of large-scale missile attacks by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on Israeli and American military facilities.
It is noted that among the 27 targeted sites are the "Tel Nof" airbase, the general staff of the Israeli army in Tel Aviv, and major defense complexes.
The official statement from the Iranian armed forces emphasizes that they "will not allow the silence of sirens in Israel and at American bases" and plan to take "consistent and harsh retaliatory measures."
In response to the attacks, air defense systems were activated in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Jordan, and Israel, where sounds of explosions have also been reported.
Earlier, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that after the death of the country's leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, they would take revenge on Israel and American bases "in the shortest possible time."
The Israeli army confirmed that air defense systems are operational to intercept missiles.
The Israeli command sent messages to citizens requesting them to remain in shelters until further notice.
Israeli media also reported the activation of sirens in the central part of the country.
It is worth noting that on February 28, the USA and Israel began massive strikes on Iranian military facilities.
As a result of these attacks, at least 200 people were killed, more than 700 were injured, including Iranian President Ali Khamenei and several high-ranking officials.
