The agenda included a discussion on the progress of work to strengthen the borders. All heads of relevant agencies were instructed on the necessity of ensuring proper and timely execution of the assigned tasks.
By 2025, it is planned to complete the installation of engineering barriers along nearly 150 kilometers of the border. For 2026, the construction of an additional 200 kilometers of protective lines is planned, including:
- 65 kilometers — in the Batken district;
- 135 kilometers — in the Leilek district.
Participants of the meeting emphasized the importance of coordinated actions and strict adherence to established deadlines.
It was also noted that it is necessary to intensify efforts to identify cases of illegal movement of goods. Participants were instructed to enhance control in high-risk areas, prevent attempts to damage engineering structures, and maintain established infrastructure.
Given the current international situation, particularly the situation in Afghanistan and Pakistan, additional recommendations were provided to ensure public safety and increase the readiness of all services.
