In the Batken region, the first meeting of this year was held, chaired by the presidential representative Aibek Shamenov. The heads of districts and cities in the region also participated in the event. The press service of the representative office reported this.
Shamenov emphasized that after resolving issues related to borders and security, the most important task facing the region is comprehensive socio-economic development. He urged all leaders to act within the law and to demonstrate maximum responsibility.
During the meeting, priority areas of work were identified:
- effective and targeted use of electricity;
- assessment of efforts to provide the population with coal;
- land inventory;
- completion of the land amnesty process;
- regulation of large markets;
- resolution of issues regarding the construction of markets in Kyzyl-Kiya and Batken, as well as the Batken bus station;
- strengthening preventive measures to prevent traffic accidents;
- active participation in competitions to form a personnel reserve in government agencies.
In conclusion, Shamenov noted that the time has come to actively develop Batken and unite efforts to achieve the set goals.
