An agreement has been reached with Oman to launch two charter flights that will allow for the evacuation of approximately 300 citizens of Kyrgyzstan.
If permission is granted by the UAE, the remaining citizens can be evacuated in just one day.
Special attention will be given to the evacuation of women and children.
The head of state urged citizens to remain calm and patient, emphasizing that the evacuation process is ongoing around the clock with the involvement of all necessary agencies.
- According to data from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, as of March 2, approximately 22,000 citizens of Kyrgyzstan are in the Middle Eastern countries. Of these, about 6,000 are in Saudi Arabia (mostly pilgrims performing Umrah), and about 10,000 are in the United Arab Emirates. The remaining citizens are in Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Israel, and other countries in the region.
