She responded to a question from a member of parliament who noted that the discount had previously been 50 percent but has now decreased to 40 percent, which is causing dissatisfaction among patients.
Ibraeva confirmed that an agreement had been reached for a 50 percent discount on tests in 2024. However, in 2025, the laboratory decided to reduce this discount to 40 percent, justifying this by the increase in reagent prices and the mismatch in service costs.
“Currently, we are continuing negotiations with the laboratory to restore the discount to the level of 50 percent,” she added.
