Adylbek Kasymaliev, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, delivered a congratulatory speech on behalf of the president, expressing good wishes to the residents of Kyrgyzstan and guests of the capital on this special day of the spring equinox.
Speaking about significant achievements, Kasymaliev noted the key role of the year 2025, when Kyrgyzstan plans to complete the process of demarcating state borders. This event will confirm the country's commitment to peace, dialogue, and internal stability, which is an important step for modern statehood.
In the economic section of his speech, he mentioned record indicators: the gross domestic product reached nearly 2 trillion soms, and the state budget exceeded 1 trillion soms. These funds have allowed the launch of more than 100 new industrial facilities and the construction of 200 social institutions. The volumes of road construction have also increased fivefold, exceeding 1000 kilometers per year.
Social initiatives for 2026 include large-scale support for families and budget sector workers. Starting April 1, salaries will be increased for 200,000 medical workers and teachers, and from June 1, a new benefit called "Bala Irysy" will be introduced for children under three years old. The implementation of a mortgage program without a down payment will also continue, which will provide housing for about 20,000 families this year.
The head of the Cabinet emphasized support for the agricultural sector, for which 38.5 billion soms have been allocated, which will help half a million farmers.
The festive events concluded with a cultural program, during which creative groups performed, a yurt city was set up, and national crafts were demonstrated, thereby highlighting the rich historical heritage of the Kyrgyz people.
