According to information from the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, the ministry, together with TSARKA, has initiated a new project aimed at protecting the population from financial fraud schemes.

It is reported that the parties have signed a memorandum of cooperation based on international experience that has proven effective in countries such as Japan, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.

One of the main elements of the project will be the so-called "visual pause": special cutouts of police officers will be installed near ATMs to reduce the psychological pressure from fraudsters and give citizens the opportunity to stop, think about the situation, and make an informed decision, as stated in the press release.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs refers to international practices that show such measures can reduce the level of financial crimes by up to 40 percent.

The goal of the initiative is to provide preventive protection for the financial security of citizens with the support of TSARKA.

TSARKA is a center for the analysis and investigation of cyberattacks, which conducts audits and checks systems for vulnerabilities, penetration testing, investigates cyber incidents, and helps organizations build effective defenses.
