The purpose of the event was to support the agricultural sector and enhance the knowledge level among farmers. The fair was organized as part of the project "Partnership in Irrigation in the Fergana Valley." The event was attended by the First Deputy of the Presidential Representative in the Osh region, Ilyaz Tashbaev, as well as entrepreneurs and representatives of farming enterprises.
In his opening remarks, I. Tashbaev emphasized that this event is not just an exhibition, but an important platform for exchanging experiences, expanding knowledge, and creating new opportunities in agriculture.
He added that the main task of the "Agro Caravan – 2026" fair is to familiarize participants with modern irrigation technologies, provide information about available financial offers, and facilitate the establishment of direct connections between producers, financial institutions, and consultants.
According to data for 2025, more than 400 hectares of modern irrigation systems have been implemented in the region, and by 2026, this area is expected to increase to 600 hectares.
