From January 13 to 14, 2026, a specialized seminar was held at the Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute of Animal Husbandry and Pastures, where specialists gained knowledge about modern approaches to feeding agricultural animals. The Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic confirmed this event.
This event was made possible by a grant project from the KOICA International Cooperation Agency.
The main goal of the seminar was to increase animal productivity through the implementation of scientifically justified feeding systems, effective use of feed resources, and strengthening the scientific and practical potential of specialists in the field of feeding.
The seminar also aimed to expand the professional skills of participants in assessing feed quality using both laboratory and calculation methods.
During the seminar, the following key topics were discussed:
- methods for analyzing the chemical composition and nutritional value of feeds for cattle;
- scientific foundations for balancing diets in terms of protein, energy, vitamins, and minerals;
- methods for assessing feed digestibility and feeding efficiency;
- processing analytical data using feeding software and statistical methods.
