As reported in the press release from the State Tax Service, the GKU "Salyk Service" will begin using artificial intelligence for desk tax audits.

In its activity report for the four years since its establishment, the institution noted the implementation of a number of digital solutions, such as the digitization of tax reports and the ability to pay taxes remotely through the platform cabinet.salyk.kg and the Salyk mobile application. "In 2025, an AI tool called 'Kezet' was added to the system, which significantly improved the processing of tax data," the document states.

Plans for 2026 include broader use of artificial intelligence in the tax audit process, which will allow for the automation of processes and increase the transparency of inspectors' work.

The director of the state institution, Shamshybek Kachkynbai uulu, noted that the main problems faced by taxpayers were the long time required to submit declarations and the need for personal presence to pay taxes.

"Our goal is to solve these problems. We are confident that citizens are already noticing the advantages of digital solutions that save time and resources in tax reporting," he added.

The GNS also emphasized that, according to World Bank data, in 2025, the tax payment process in Kyrgyzstan became the fastest among all methods of tax administration. Compared to the years 2012-2023, the process of calculating taxes took seven times longer than making payments, which is a significant achievement for the country's tax service, as noted in the report.
