The organizing committee for the preparation of the global mountain summit "Bishkek+25" has been formed.

The organizing committee was established by the directive of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan to prepare and conduct the Second Global Mountain Summit "Bishkek+25". The document was signed by Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev.

The summit is scheduled for 2027 in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.

The head of the government chairs the organizing committee, which has been tasked with developing and approving a preparation plan for the event within three months. The secretariat of the organizing committee will operate under the guidance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Oversight of the execution of the order is entrusted to a specialized department of the presidential administration.

The organizing committee includes deputy prime ministers, the special representative of the president on mountain policy issues, the chief of staff of the president, ministers, as well as officials from the head of state’s administration. The committee will also include directors of several state agencies, authorized representatives of the president in the Naryn, Chui, and Issyk-Kul regions, the mayors of Bishkek, Osh, and Naryn, the president of the National Academy of Sciences, the director of the National Institute for Strategic Initiatives, the responsible secretary of the National Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic for UNESCO, and others.
