The National Academy of Sciences under the President of Kyrgyzstan will hold a ceremonial meeting on January 15 in honor of the 75th anniversary of Academician Borubaev Altai Asylkanovich.
His work focuses on promoting science and education in Kyrgyzstan.
Altai Borubaev is an academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic and has received numerous awards, including the Intergovernmental Award of the CIS "Stars of the Commonwealth." He has twice been a laureate of the State Prize of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of science and technology and has been awarded the title of Honored Worker of Science. Among his awards are the Order of "Manas" III degree and the Order of "Commonwealth" of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS. He currently holds the position of Director of the Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Borubaev is the author of 16 scientific monographs and books, as well as over 130 scientific articles published in 15 countries. He has presented his scientific works at universities in 39 countries around the world. Under his leadership, more than 20 international scientific congresses and conferences have taken place in the republic.
To this day, he also serves as the President of the Union of Scientists of Kyrgyzstan, is a member of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, and is the head of the Kyrgyz Mathematical Society. In addition, he is a member of the editorial boards of several international scientific journals in mathematics.
