On January 28, 2026, a complaint was received at the Interior Ministry from B. E. She reported that on January 14, at approximately 13:20, in one of the capital's shopping centers, an unknown girl discreetly stole a gold ring worth 14,000 soms and then fled the scene.
A criminal case was initiated regarding this incident under Article 205 "Theft" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational activities, law enforcement officials were able to identify and detain the suspect — A. Zh., born in 2007. She was sent to the investigative department and, in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, was placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police.
Currently, the connection of the detainee to at least three other similar crimes is being investigated. The investigation is ongoing.
