A man has been placed in a temporary detention facility, and his connection to other crimes is under investigation.
Officers of the criminal investigation department of the Internal Affairs Administration of the Oktobrskiy district of Bishkek have detained a suspect in apartment burglaries.
According to law enforcement agencies, on the night of January 4, 2026, the criminal broke a window and entered a house on Maldybaev Street, stealing a gold ring and wristwatch worth a total of 900 US dollars.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning theft.
As a result of operational-search activities, a previously convicted citizen named K.S., born in 1988, was identified and detained. The suspect was taken to the Investigative Service, where, in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, he was placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Administration of Bishkek.
Currently, an investigation is underway to determine his possible involvement in other similar crimes.
