The employees of the Main Internal Affairs Department of the city of Bishkek detained a man suspected of committing a series of large-scale frauds, according to information provided by the press service of the agency.
On January 15, 2026, a representative of the company S.A. approached the Sverdlovsk Internal Affairs Department in Bishkek, filing a complaint requesting action against citizen A.A.
In his statement, he described that on January 9, 2026, citizen E.B. deceitfully, under the pretext of delivering cargo along the route Khorgos – Moscow – Belgorod, took possession of 4,000 US dollars.
At the same time, violating the agreed route, he crossed the border of Kyrgyzstan through the "Dunlarova" checkpoint and used 4 vehicles at his discretion, spending the money received on personal needs.
In connection with these circumstances, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 (fraud in a particularly large amount) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational-search activities, employees of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek detained the suspect, a citizen A.A., born in 1988. He was taken to the investigative department of the Sverdlovsk district and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek.
The Sverdlovsk District Court of Bishkek chose a preventive measure in the form of detention, sending the suspect to Pretrial Detention Center No. 1 until the end of the investigation.
Four vehicles that he had not managed to sell were found and seized; they are currently located at a specialized impound lot. His involvement in other similar frauds has also been established.
Currently, all necessary investigative actions regarding the criminal case are ongoing.
