According to the ministry, a citizen named O.A. approached law enforcement. He reported that in November 2023, a certain Murat promised to help him in a court process but deceitfully took $25,000 and disappeared.

In connection with this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan. During operational activities in the village of Ak-Kiya, located in the Uzgen district of the Osh region, law enforcement detained a citizen S.M., born in 1970.
This person had been wanted since 2024, previously had criminal convictions, and according to investigation data, is a member of an organized criminal group.
For the detained individual, the court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of arrest.
