An operation to detain a suspect in the illegal sale of drugs took place in Bishkek, as reported by the Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky District.
The incident occurred on January 31, 2026. A police officer noticed suspicious behavior from one of the passersby on Ogorodnaya Street. During further observation, it was established that this individual was engaged in the illegal distribution of drugs through so-called "drops" in the area and the city.
A criminal case was initiated in accordance with Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal production of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogs for the purpose of sale.
As a result of operational-search activities, a 16-year-old citizen named T.B. was detained. Upon his arrest, he indicated the locations of the drops and handed over 29 heat-shrinkable packages containing narcotic substances. The suspect was placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation is ongoing.
