According to information from Turmush, on February 3, 2026, the Talas City Court reviewed the case of E.A.T., who was charged under part 2 of Article 345 of the Criminal Code ("Giving a bribe for the commission of an obviously illegal action (inaction)").
The court ruled that E.A.T. will remain in custody until February 20, 2026.
As reported by the press service of the GKNB on February 22, 2026, it was revealed that using forged documents, the village administration illegally allocated land plots totaling 10 hectares and 75 ares to 43 citizens in the Kara-Buur rural district of the Talas region.
According to operational data, a total of 56 land plots were illegally allocated in a similar manner.
In connection with these facts, E.A.T., who is a specialist at the Aitmatov branch of the State Agency for Land Resources, offered a bribe in cash to terminate the investigation against him and avoid responsibility.
On January 20, 2026, E.A.T. was detained while handing over a bribe of 100,000 soms to an employee of the GKNB as part of the initiated criminal case.
