On January 17, operatives conducted a search of a vehicle driven by 35-year-old A.A.K. During the inspection, narcotic substances known as hashish or "chars" were found in the cabin. As a result of this operation, T.J.J., 31 years old, known by the nickname "Takalak," and 34-year-old T.I.S., who was found with opium in his jacket, were also detained.
These events were recorded under Article 282 ("Illegal production of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogs for the purpose of sale") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to information from the Drug Control Service, T.I.S. is considered one of the main organizers of this drug group. His criminal past includes convictions under Articles 97 ("Murder"), 123 ("Kidnapping"), 233 ("Mass Riots"), and 339 ("Concealment of a Crime") of the Criminal Code (as amended in 1997). It is important to note that he was supposed to serve a sentence in penal colony No. 26, but, as the investigation suggests, he entered into a fictitious contract with an individual entrepreneur and obtained a certificate from his place of work, which allowed him to remain at large. In connection with this fact, investigative authorities will conduct an additional legal assessment.
The search for other members of the criminal group continues as part of the investigation.
