In Bishkek, the activities of an organized criminal group engaged in the large-scale distribution of Afghan-produced drugs have been halted. This information was provided by the press service of the Drug Control Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to law enforcement data, on January 17, during investigative and operational activities, a search of a vehicle belonging to citizen A.A.K., born in 1988, revealed narcotic substances — hashish of Afghan origin.

As a result of further actions, T.J.J., born in 1992, known by the nickname Takalak, who is part of the organized criminal group led by Kamchy Kolbaev, was detained, as well as T.I.S., born in 1989, who had narcotic substance opium found in the pocket of his jacket.

Based on these events, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 282 "Illegal manufacture of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and their analogs for the purpose of sale" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. For the seized narcotics, forensic chemical examinations have been appointed.

It is worth noting that T.I.S. is the organizer of this drug group. He has previously been prosecuted for articles related to murder, kidnapping, mass riots, and concealing a crime. Despite the fact that he was supposed to serve a sentence in institution No. 26 of the State Penitentiary Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, thanks to a fictitious contract with an individual entrepreneur, he obtained a certificate of employment and remained free, continuing his criminal activities. This circumstance will be further investigated by the investigative authorities.

Currently, efforts are ongoing to identify other possible participants in this drug group.
