As reported to the editorial office of Kaktus.media by the State Penitentiary Service of Kyrgyzstan, the information about the death of Umyrzakov, who was convicted on several charges, is false. The service denied the rumors circulating on social media that Karyshkyr had died in the colony where he is serving his sentence.

He is fine and continues to serve his sentence.

It is worth reminding that in June 2023, the Alamudun District Court of the Chui Region sentenced Mursalym Umyrzakov, finding him guilty of contract killing.

He was convicted on charges related to "Creating or participating in an organized group," "Kidnapping," "Extortion," and "Murder," and received a 14-year prison sentence with confiscation of property, serving his sentence in a strict regime.
