The incident was recorded today at 16:35 when a report was received about a fire on the roof of the furnace in the regional library building located on Ch.Aitmatov Street.
To extinguish the fire, two units from the Talas City Fire and Rescue Department No. 17 were dispatched to the scene. The fire was localized at 17:01 and completely extinguished by 17:10.
As a result of the fire, 10 square meters of the furnace were damaged; fortunately, there were no injuries.
The cause of the fire was improper installation of the stove and chimney.
Thanks to the quick response of the rescuers, it was possible to prevent the spread of the fire and bring the situation fully under control.
