The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported the detention of two more suspects in the organization of mass riots.
Earlier, as a result of publications in various online sources and media, several citizens were identified and detained, who are also suspected of involvement in these events.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that these actions could provoke political tension and public conflicts, as well as undermine the stability and internal unity of the country.
In connection with these events, a criminal case has been initiated under part 1 of article 278 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (mass riots).
Investigative actions led to the identification and detention of two new suspects: A.K., born in 1966, and K.A., born in 1968. In accordance with the norms of article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, they have been placed in a temporary detention facility.
These individuals are suspected not only of organizing mass riots but also of other illegal activities. Searches were conducted in their residences.
According to preliminary data, they created a group of citizens that spread calls for early presidential elections and attempted to disseminate false information among the population.
Investigative activities are ongoing.
