19-year-old girl detained on suspicion of extortion

K. A., born in 2007, was detained on suspicion of extortion, according to information provided by the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Oktyabrsky District.

In connection with the incident, the investigative service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Oktyabrsky District of Bishkek initiated a criminal case under Article 208 "Extortion" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The girl was caught during the transfer of 300,000 soms. She was taken to the investigative service and, according to Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek.
