According to the department, the incident occurred on the night of February 11 around 22:35, when officers of the patrol service noticed flames in an unknown vehicle parked by the roadside during their duty.
“While performing their official duties on one of the streets of Talas, the officers noticed smoke and flames coming from the front of the car. They immediately began to extinguish the fire and soon managed to stop its spread, after which they notified the service 102 about the incident,” the press service reported.
Later, the owner of the vehicle was identified, who thanked the police officers for their prompt actions,” the statement clarified.
