During the raid "Bandit," conducted in the Talas region, law enforcement officers discovered a substance in the possession of one of the residents that, according to preliminary data, is narcotic. This was reported by the press service of the regional Department of Internal Affairs.
As part of this operation, criminal investigation workers, in cooperation with the district internal affairs department, detained nine individuals previously registered as participants in organized criminal groups. All of them were taken to police stations for fingerprinting and checking for connections to unsolved crimes, as well as for preventive talks.
During a personal search, a package containing a dark substance wrapped in plastic was found on one of the detainees, located in the inner pocket of his jacket.
This incident has been recorded in the electronic journal of the Talas region Department of Internal Affairs, and further investigations are currently underway.
