According to information from the press service of the Internal Affairs Department, a 40-year-old resident of the village of Buzhum, located in the Suu-Bashy ayil aimak, identified as T.A., had repeatedly shown aggression towards his wife.
In 2025, his actions led to his wife obtaining a protection order after three incidents of violence. In 2026, following a new act of brutality, he was detained.
Based on these events, a criminal case was initiated under Article 138 of the Criminal Code, concerning "Torture." The suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing.
