In Osh, fake police conducted searches in a massage parlor and extorted money for "protection"

In the city of Osh, a man posing as a police officer has been detained, according to information from the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to law enforcement data, three men entered one of the local massage parlors, introducing themselves as police officers. Without any identification, they conducted illegal searches and displayed aggression towards the owner of the establishment.

The criminals stole 32,000 soms and then began demanding additional money. One of them, who called himself "Marcel," received another 15,000 soms and also started receiving 10,000 soms each month to his electronic wallet, under the guise of providing "protection." In total, the damage amounted to 77,000 soms.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under Article 208 (Extortion) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Employees of the Internal Investigations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained K. uulu N., born in 1993, while he was receiving another sum of money.

It turned out that the detained individual has no connection to the police and is suspected of committing other similar crimes.

The detainee has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the Osh City Department of Internal Affairs.

Operational activities are ongoing regarding the other two suspects.
