Three strangers posing as police officers entered a massage parlor in Osh. Without showing their service IDs, they began conducting illegal searches and displayed aggression towards the owner of the establishment, as reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.
The criminals managed to steal 32,000 soms in cash and then began making demands for additional funds. One of them, who called himself "Marsel," received another 15,000 soms and, using false promises of "protection," started receiving weekly transfers of 10,000 soms to his electronic wallet. As a result, the total damage amounted to 77,000 soms.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 208 (extortion) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational-search activities, officers of the Internal Investigations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained one of the suspects, citizen K. uulu N., born in 1993, while he was receiving another sum of money.
It has been established that the detained individual has no relation to law enforcement agencies and is also suspected of committing a number of other similar crimes.
K. uulu N. has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the Internal Affairs Department of the city of Osh.
Operational-search actions are ongoing to locate two more suspects.
