A fake police officer was detained in Osh: extorted money from the salon owner
In Osh, a man has been detained on suspicion of extorting money by posing as a police officer. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the information from the department, three unknown individuals entered a massage salon and, without presenting any official identification, conducted illegal searches, behaving rudely towards the owner of the establishment.

The criminals managed to seize 32,000 soms in cash, after which they demanded additional funds from the owner. One of the attackers, who introduced himself as Marcel, was able to extort another 15,000 soms. Additionally, he organized regular transfers of 10,000 soms to his electronic wallet, promising "protection."

As a result, the total damage amounted to 77,000 soms.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under Article 208 "Extortion" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The detained individual is in custody, and investigative actions are ongoing to identify other possible accomplices.
