According to law enforcement, on regular days, they detain from 25 to 30 drivers in an intoxicated state; however, during the 24 hours of Valentine's Day celebrations, this number doubled.
The majority of those detained were young people celebrating the holiday.
Additionally, inspectors identified 76 drivers who were operating vehicles without the necessary driver's licenses. As a result, 382 vehicles were placed in the impound lot.
The patrol service once again reminded about the importance of adhering to traffic laws and the inadmissibility of driving under the influence.
