According to information from the press service, on August 28, 2025, a complaint was received by law enforcement from a citizen, Z.S., regarding a possible medical error at the National Center for Maternal and Child Health.
According to available data, in October 2024, Dr. N.B., while treating a minor, K.A., born in 2011, made serious mistakes that led to the amputation of her right leg.
In connection with this, a criminal case has been initiated under the article concerning the improper performance of professional duties by a medical worker, resulting in serious harm through negligence, according to the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The charges against the suspect were filed based on the results of forensic medical examinations. The nephrologist was detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the capital's Main Department of Internal Affairs. The investigation is ongoing.
It was also reported today about the detention of the well-known nephrologist Nasira Beishebaeva, confirmed by the staff of the National Center for Maternal and Child Health. They appealed to President Sadyr Japarov, requesting a comprehensive and objective examination of this situation in accordance with the law.
