A 57-year-old citizen approached the police, requesting measures to be taken against the prison chief.
The investigation established that in December 2025, this man transferred $30,000 for obtaining parole for a prisoner convicted of fraud.
This act is classified under Article 342 ("Receiving a Bribe") of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
The detained individual turned out to be T.M., the former head of correctional facility No. 27, born in 1984. He is currently held in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek.
Investigative actions are ongoing.
