A 76-year-old woman living in Bishkek contacted the police on December 12, 2025, stating that she had fallen victim to fraudsters who, posing as law enforcement officials, deceitfully took her money amounting to 850,000 soms.
A criminal case was opened regarding this incident under Article 209 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
The law enforcement authorities detained the suspect, identified as A.Z., born in 2004. He is currently placed in a temporary detention facility.
As part of the investigation, efforts are ongoing to identify other individuals involved in this crime.
