The incident occurred on February 2, when a resident of the capital's district reported to the police about a find that he suspected to be a narcotic substance.
A investigative-operational group from the Lenin District Department of Internal Affairs arrived at the scene. During the inspection, law enforcement officers discovered a stash hidden at the gate of the applicant's house. The man also provided video footage showing an unknown individual leaving the stash.
This case was registered in accordance with Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal production of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances for the purpose of sale.
During the investigation, a 19-year-old suspect, A.B., was detained. His mobile device contained correspondence in Telegram with a certain Azamat, who sent him the coordinates of drug storage locations.
According to the detainee, he had been involved in the distribution of psychotropic substances for a month and indicated the places where the stashes were made. A total of more than 40 packages were found.
Expert examination confirmed that the seized substances are psychotropic compounds, with a total weight of about 120 grams.
The suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility, and the investigation is ongoing.
