In Bishkek, law enforcement authorities detained a person suspected of distributing psychotropic substances using the method of hidden "stash" placements. During the searches, more than 40 packets of drugs weighing approximately 120 grams were seized.
According to information from the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek, on February 2, the police received a report from residents of a new building about the discovery of a suspicious object. An investigative operational group from the Lenin District Department of Internal Affairs arrived at the scene.
During the examination of the area along the fence, a packet wrapped in duct tape was found. The informant reported that an unfamiliar person had left this object and provided a video recording of the incident.
In connection with this event, a criminal case was initiated under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal production of drugs and psychotropic substances for the purpose of sale.
As a result of operational-search activities, the suspect, citizen A. B., born in 2004, was identified and arrested.
During the check of his mobile phone, a conversation was found in the Telegram messenger with a user named "Azamat," containing information about stash locations and the quantity of psychotropic substances. The detainee himself reported that he had been distributing drugs through stashes for the past month.
Based on the obtained testimonies, police officers seized additional packets from various locations. An examination conducted by the forensic service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs confirmed that the seized substance is a psychotropic compound.
The suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility, and the pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
