A man living in Bishkek reported to law enforcement that on January 30, at the intersection of Chuy Avenue and Shopokov Street, his iPhone 17 Pro Max, valued at 150,000 soms, was stolen.
As a result of the investigation, a 23-year-old citizen, K.B., was detained. He already had previous convictions and was registered with the Ministry of Internal Affairs as an active member of an organized crime group and a pickpocket.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning theft. The detainee has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
It has been revealed that the suspect was wanted and is linked to four thefts in public places in the capital. During his detention, he voluntarily handed over four mobile phones to the police, which were obtained through criminal means.
