- On February 26, 2026, during border control at the automobile checkpoint "Ak-Zhol," border guards identified a number of violations related to the movement of goods across the border.

During the inspection of vehicles, which included cars of the brands Toyota Ipsum, Toyota Estima, and Chery Tiggo, driven by citizens of Kyrgyzstan: K.B. uulu (born in 1973) and M.N. uulu (born in 1993), as well as a citizen of Kazakhstan Sh.E.B. (born in 1991), it was established that the necessary accompanying documents for the cargo were missing.

During the inspection, a batch of goods was discovered, which included cosmetics, plumbing, Asus laptops, and other items.

The preliminary value of the identified cargo amounted to over 6,000,000 soms.

After the procedural actions were completed, all vehicles, drivers, and cargo were handed over to the relevant state authorities for further investigation and necessary measures.

The State Border Service urges participants in foreign economic activity and citizens to strictly comply with legislative requirements when moving goods across the border, emphasizing that the import of goods without the appropriate documents entails liability in accordance with the current legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
