In Barpy, a man went to the barn for coal and discovered the disappearance of livestock — three young men detained

In the Suzak district, law enforcement agencies detained a group of suspects involved in the theft of livestock, according to information provided by the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Jalal-Abad region.

According to police data, on January 30, 2026, a resident of the village of Barpy, M.Sh., born in 1989, approached the Suzak district police department. In her complaint, she reported that on the night of December 23 to 24, 2025, her husband, Mirlan, while going to the barn for coal, noticed the disappearance of their cow. The victim estimated the value of the stolen animal at 80,000 soms.

This information was registered in the Unified Register of Crimes by the Suzak district police investigation, after which a criminal case was initiated under Article 205-1 ("Cattle Rustling") of the Criminal Code.

During the investigation conducted by the Suzak district police officers, operational-search measures were carried out. As a result, on February 22, 2026, the following individuals were detained:

- T.T., born in 1982, a resident of the Suzak district;

- T.A., born in 2004, a resident of the Suzak district;

- E.A., born in 2004, a resident of the Bazar-Korgon district.

The Suzak district court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for the detained individuals for a period of 1.5 months.

Currently, investigative activities are ongoing to establish the possible involvement of the detainees in other similar crimes.
