
The operations "Bandit" and "Arsenal," carried out in the Talas region, led to the resolution of several crimes related to cattle theft, as reported by the press service of the regional police department.
On February 1, a resident of the Talas district, J.N., born in 1973, reported to law enforcement about the theft of two calves from his barn, which occurred on the night of January 22 to 23, and requested measures to identify the culprits.
A criminal case was initiated regarding the theft under paragraph 4 of part 3 of article 205-1 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (theft of livestock), and investigative actions began.
During the operational-search activities, a group of criminals consisting of two individuals was identified, who were involved in cattle thefts in the region. As a result, a resident of the Aitmatov district, J.R., born in 1985, was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
During interrogation, J.R. confessed that he acted in collusion with T.N., a resident of the Aitmatov district, born in 1981. His whereabouts are currently unknown, and he has been declared wanted.
During the investigation, J.R.'s involvement in other cattle thefts was also established, including 12 episodes of crimes. Emergency searches were conducted to locate the stolen cattle, during which 14 heads of cattle were found in the home of the suspect's relatives. As a result, three cows and 11 calves were returned to their rightful owners.
The victims expressed their gratitude to the police officers for their prompt actions and effective work.
