
In Bishkek, law enforcement agencies detained a man suspected of a series of fraudulent activities related to offering assistance in obtaining driver's licenses.
According to the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the capital, the detained individual is B.M., born in 1998.
It became known that on December 25, 2025, a citizen identified as O.U. reported to the police. He stated that on December 11, 2025, in the Kok-Zhar area, an unknown person approached him, introducing himself as A.K., and, using the promise to help with obtaining a driver's license, managed to take his money amounting to 120,000 soms. However, he did not fulfill his obligations and did not return the money.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under part 2 of article 209 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the investigation, six more cases of fraud related to the detained individual were identified. Currently, investigative actions and operational search measures are ongoing to determine the possible involvement of the suspect in other similar crimes.
