According to information provided by the Internal Affairs Department of the October District of Bishkek, the director of the construction company OsOO "Arabian Kyrgyz Al Khneiz" was detained on suspicion of fraud. He allegedly received $18,000, promising to sell an apartment in a new building, but failed to fulfill his obligations and then ceased communication.
A citizen, O.A., filed a complaint with the police, stating that on October 13, 2022, he handed over money for an apartment in the Kok-Jar residential area, but the company director did not fulfill his obligations.
In connection with this situation, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 209 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational-search activities, police officers identified the suspect, H.R., born in 1966, and detained him, placing him in a temporary detention facility.
Currently, an investigation is being conducted to determine the possible involvement of the detainee in other similar crimes.
