"According to him, on October 13, 2022, the company's director H.R. took 18 thousand dollars from him, promising an apartment in a building under construction in the Kök-Jar residential area. However, the housing was not provided, and the director stopped responding," the statement says.
In this regard, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning fraud. The suspect, born in 1966, was found and detained, and is now in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek.
Law enforcement agencies are currently investigating whether he may be involved in other similar crimes.
