In the Chui region, the police detained a man suspected of inflicting serious bodily harm on his acquaintance.
According to information provided by the press service of the regional police department, on March 7, 2026, a woman named B.A. reported to law enforcement about an attack on her father, B.B., born in 1965.
It was established that a conflict occurred in the village of Kara-Jyghach in the Alamudun district between two men: I.A., born in 1964, and B.B. Both were in a state of alcohol intoxication and were consuming alcoholic beverages.
During the quarrel, I.A. struck B.B. with his hands and a stick. According to the police, despite the severe injuries, the suspect pushed the man off the steps of the house, after which the victim fell to the ground and lost consciousness.
After the incident, I.A. did not provide the necessary assistance and left the scene.
B.B. sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment at the 4th City Clinical Hospital.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 130 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (Causing serious harm to health).
During operational activities, I.A. was detained and is now placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation is ongoing.
