
A man suspected of causing serious bodily harm to his acquaintance has been detained by law enforcement agencies in the Alamudun district of the Chuy region. This was reported by the press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the region.
The incident occurred on the night of March 7 in the village of Kara-Zhyhach, when the daughter of a 61-year-old man, who was injured during a conflict, contacted the Alamudun district police.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim was visiting his acquaintance, and a quarrel arose between them during the consumption of alcohol. As a result of the conflict, the homeowner struck the guest with a stick and then pushed him off the stairs into the yard, causing the latter to lose consciousness. The suspect left the scene without providing the necessary assistance to the victim. The victim is currently receiving treatment.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 130 (Causing serious harm to health) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Police officers were able to establish the whereabouts of the suspect, I.A., born in 1964, and detained him, placing him in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation of this case is ongoing.
