According to eyewitness accounts, there are casualties and injured as a result of the accident.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the incident took place at the 102-103 kilometer mark of the Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart road, within the city limits of Kemin. Three vehicles were involved in the collision:
- a MAN brand cargo manipulator truck;
- a Honda Stepwgn minivan;
- a Volkswagen Passat B4 passenger car.
At the scene of the incident, three people died from their injuries:
- a man K.Z., born in 1980;
- a woman K.A., born in 1956;
- a woman J.F., born in 1980.
Four injured individuals (three men and one woman) were urgently hospitalized. However, as reported by doctors at the district hospital, one of the injured did not survive. A woman J.A., born in 1989, passed away in the medical facility.
Thus, the total number of casualties from the accident amounted to four people.
To provide assistance, four rescuers from the Kemin district arrived at the scene. They extracted the bodies of the deceased from the mangled vehicles and handed them over to the police. The injured were transported to medical facilities by ambulance.
Currently, law enforcement agencies are conducting an investigation to determine the causes and those responsible for this tragedy.
